This year started off with books about animals and pets. What is your favorite pet? Let us know some of your favorite books you have read about animals or pets. One of my favorite authors that writes books with animals is Bill Wallace. Just a few of his books we have in the media center are Backward Bird Dog, Beauty, Blackwater Swamp, A Dog Called Kitty, Eye of the Great Bear, and Ferret in the Bedroom Lizard in the Fridge.

Other great series that have animal characters in them are Warriors by Erin Hunter, Redwall by Brian Jacques, Guardians of Ga'Hoole by Katherine Lasky, Animorphs by Katherine Applegate, and Chet Gecko by Bruce Hale.
