Going batty!

We are going batty in the library this week.

Kindergarten is learning a "5 little bats" poem with a bat finger puppet. You can make your own bat finger puppet by cutting the shape of a bat out of paper and cutting two slits in the middle of the bat so it will slip over your finger, pictured below.

With 4-6 grade, we are learning how to make a "book talk video" using the app ChatterPix. 

With the ChatterPix app, you can take a picture and add a voice to it.

This week I am sharing the app Quiver with students.  

Each class is coloring a pumpkin picture 

and we are using an iPad to make their picture come to life.
