Have you heard of Giving Tuesday?
We've just celebrated Thanksgiving, and had Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
#GivingTuesday kicks off the charitable season,
when you can take time to focus on the upcoming holidays and how you can give.
What will you give this holiday season?
Sharing a book you've read is a great way to give to others!

In the library we have 3 R's to show that we love our library, there are 3 R's you can use in life that will show we love our earth... Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. April 22nd was earth day, did you do anything to make our earth a better place? We can practice the 3 R's every day to make a difference in our world. Here are a couple books that show how others are recycling in a great way!

It's National Poetry Month!
I know students will enjoy listening for the rhyming words in
Wolf's Coming! by Joe Kulka and have fun guessing the rhyming word after
"Tighlty, TIGHTLY, shut your eyes. With all of your might yell..."
|All of the animals in the forest go into hiding because the wolf is coming, but why they are hiding is the big surprise.|

Did you know that the movie Boss Baby was inspired by a picture book? Boss Baby was written by Marla Frazee and published in 2013. You can find other books that were made into movies on the researcher by clicking on the "Never Judge a BOOK by It's Movie" button.
If you liked the movie, I KNOW you will like the book too...maybe even more.
