Chicago Remembers the Christmas Tree Ship

This week students are exploring different books and learning about several traditions and how people celebrate differently. I am then book talking the book "The Christmas Tree Ship" by Carol Crane about a tradition of delivering Christmas trees and how it still carries on today, even after the tragic sinking of the original Christmas Tree Ship.
