What traditions do you have?

One of my favorite Christmas traditions since I was young has been making gingerbread houses. I was kind of sad when my children got older and didn't really want to make them anymore, but then  we decided it would be fun to still make them not for us but to donate to the festival of trees.

Pictured below are the felt monsters that classes are helping to create for PCH. If you would like to help make more monsters at home and bring them in to donate, the picture has a link to an online pattern and instructions for the project.

This month we will be working on a service project in the library to collect art and craft supplies and make stuffed "monsters" for children at Primary Children's Hospital. Below is a music video that features PCH and gives us a glimpse of what some of their patients are going through. I know that our donations and service will bring joy to us as we serve, and also bring hope and joy to those that receive our donations.
