READING IS MAGIC...

This year we will be discovering the "magic" in books. Not necessarily fantasy magic, but how books can be magic in our lives; taking us on adventures through using our imagination and magically transforming us into readers & leaders.

Here is a poster of the art display made with the cranes collected by Students Rebuild in the spring. Orchard Elementary donated 3,580 of the cranes that made this display. Go to the "Crane Poster" link under online resources to find out more about it.

This summer our circulation system was updated. With the upgrades you can now view our researchers online, so you can search our library collection anywhere you have access to the internet. Back to School!

Are you ready for school to start next week?

I am so excited to start a new school year and hope you are too. Thank you to all of thestudents that came to the library this summer. Remember if you havebooks checked out from summer library, they will need to be returned before you can check out new books during the school year.

Our principal was such a great sport as students tried to dunk him today. A few were able to dunk him, ending the year with a big SPLASH!!
